St. Mary's Basilica
St. Mary’s Basilica is a prominent Catholic church located in the Shivajinagar area of Bangalore, Karnataka. It is one of the oldest churches in Bangalore and is a popular pilgrimage site for Christians.
The church was first built in 1818 and was later rebuilt in 1882 in Gothic style architecture. It was elevated to the status of a minor basilica by Pope John Paul II in 1973, making it one of the few basilicas in India.
