Impeller.net Sales Platform Available In Five More Languages

The international sales website for centrifugal pumps, impeller.net, has been expanded to include five more languages: Russian, Polish, Czech, Greek, and Turkish. The enlargement improves the user-friendliness of the pump selection tool in particular and provides a significant contribution to the Internet portal’s worldwide focus.

Cross-manufacturer pump selection via the impeller.net Internet service is growing in popularity since it allows consumers to not only search for suitable pumps but also compare them. If a pump is located, it can be ordered straight from a linked online shop, if one is accessible. The internet offering is completed by industry news, a firm catalogue, and a thorough encyclopaedia.

“We expect the activation of the new languages to primarily improve penetration of local markets, as there are still language barriers that can be overcome in this way,” Jens-Uwe Vogel, Managing Director of VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE GmbH, adds. “Now, smaller planning and craft businesses can use the pump search without having to master the English language.”

The redesigned impeller.net Internet portal went live in early 2020. Aside from the magazine content, the portal concentrates on the impeller.net PumpSelector, which connects consumers, manufacturers, and sellers on an open platform. It employs an interface to directly access manufacturers’ data, providing users with all the information they require on a single page. Interested parties enter the operational data and keywords for the field of application or design, and appropriate pumps based on their specifications are displayed. These can be sorted and filtered based on a variety of parameters. Users select available options, such as material design or connectivity, in the subsequent configuration. The ability to directly compare pump models is quite useful.

Pumps from the following manufacturers currently cover the product areas of ‘Heating, air conditioning, cooling, Water supply, Drainage and sewage, and Industry’: Bungartz (Germany), Papantonatos (Greece), Pentair Sta-Rite (Italy), Pentair Jung Pumpen (Germany), Shakti (India), Tsurumi (Europe) (Germany), Wilo (Germany), and Zenit (Italy). Other manufacturers are anticipated to follow suit in the near future.
