Description
For nearly a week Nicholas Schneider, a 21-year-old American college student, has tried and failed to find a route out of Wuhan in China, the city quarantined at the center of a rapidly spreading coronavirus epidemic.
A strange calm has settled over the streets of Wuhan, a city of 11,000,000 people. Schneider, a student of geodesy, a branch in applied mathematics, has been studying there for the past 10 miles (16km) and is located about 16km from the market where the experts believe that the coronavirus was first discovered.
