Role Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Aftermarket projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams and external customers to maintain productive relationships, meet technical requirements, and deliver high-quality results in line with Flowserve standards and procedures.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Take full ownership of end-to-end project execution, ensuring performance, quality, and safety from project initiation through completion.
Manage and execute multiple customer orders, ensuring accurate order processing and timely delivery.
Validate orders as “clean orders” and apply change management processes to control scope, cost, and schedule.
Coordinate with Engineering to secure timely drawing approvals from customers.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and adherence to project goals.
Prepare and present project status updates, milestone reports, and escalation communications to stakeholders as needed.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by promoting transparency, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges and improve project execution processes.
Use project management tools and Microsoft Office applications for effective planning, tracking, and reporting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience / Skills
4–8 years of project management experience in rotating equipment, pumps, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and budgeting for pump parts or aftermarket projects.
Proven experience in risk assessment, change management, and issue resolution.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
