Role Summary
The Sales Support Representative (SSR) serves as the primary customer contact and works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other internal teams to address customer inquiries and support business growth. This role partners with Sales leadership to advance key initiatives that strengthen sales performance, increase bookings, and expand the opportunity pipeline. The SSR leverages data as a strategic tool to support decision-making, deliver accurate sales forecasting, and provide meaningful analysis on sales productivity and efficiency.

Apply experience in sales or customer service within an engineered manufacturing environment, including administration of commercial and/or government contracts.
Demonstrate the ability to influence and collaborate through strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
Lead coordination for aftermarket quotes, ensuring seamless communication and engagement with all stakeholders.
Review customer specifications and documentation to ensure compliance with Flowserve’s technical and commercial guidelines.
Support both tactical, day-to-day customer proposals and strategic offerings, including targeted win-back opportunities.
Partner with Site Hubs to improve quotation performance regionally and across aligned product sites by optimizing quoting tools for prioritization, cycle time reduction, improved delivery times, and reduced rework.
Create high-quality, on-time proposals that support successful order fulfillment.
Manage the full bid cycle, maintaining accurate workload management data and monitoring hit-rate performance for continuous improvement.
Demonstrate working knowledge of pump types, applications, parts, programs, and processes to provide effective customer solutions.
Identify key actions in collaboration with Sales leadership to improve forecast accuracy, address performance gaps, and prepare data for QBRs.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records, including sales training documentation, organizational charts, and other critical engagement information.
Support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives led by Sales leadership.
Compile and distribute weekly sales reports.
Assist with 30-day, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasting processes.
Apply strong problem-solving skills, working independently and collaboratively with a global mindset.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Exhibit excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Industry experience with pumps or rotating equipment.
Customer relationship management experience in the power generation or utilities sectors.
Experience with Salesforce.
Background in pricing, contract review, and ERP administration.
High School Diploma/GED and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
