Senior Engineer QA

Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance of control valve products with customer and project requirements through detailed specification review, development of inspection documentation, welding procedure preparation, and execution of final inspections. The position plays a key role in preparing ITPs, test procedures, managing customer inspections, and delivering accurate and complete Manufacturing Data Records (MDR). You will also develop and qualify welding procedures in accordance with ASME Section IX and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough reviews of customer and project specifications to ensure alignment with all technical, quality, and procedural requirements.

Prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), testing procedures, and other quality documents for customer approval.

Perform final product inspections in line with specifications and initiate CAPA actions when non-conformances are identified.

Coordinate and support customer and third-party inspections, prepare inspection reports, and complete MDR documentation for submission.

Develop WPS/PQRs as per ASME Section IX, create weld maps, and review customer welding requirements to ensure compliance.

Ensure effective communication across internal teams to resolve quality issues, clarify technical requirements, and maintain product integrity.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and industry reference documents.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience in control valve inspection.

Knowledge of NDE methods with Level II certification in RT, UT, MT, PT, or LT per ASNT/ISO 9712.

Welding Engineer or Welding Inspector certification from AWI or equivalent authority.

Minimum qualifications:

B.E. Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience, or

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years’ experience
