Warehouse Store-person

Job Summary
The Warehouse Store-person plays a key role in managing the flow of materials throughout the facility. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming goods, preparing and dispatching outbound shipments, and ensuring that inventory is stored accurately and safely. The role supports both internal teams and external partners by delivering reliable service, maintaining orderly warehouse operations, and strictly following safety guidelines. The position may also involve operating forklifts to move materials and support daily production needs.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, confirming accuracy against bills of lading and packing documents.

Coordinate with purchasing and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or incomplete shipments.

Identify and document any damaged or nonconforming materials.

Accurately log received goods in purchase orders and update information within the ERP system.

Prepare outbound shipments, verifying accuracy and ensuring items are packaged securely.

Maintain proper documentation, filing, and archiving as needed.

Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with established procedures.

Follow all safety standards and company policies at all times.

Retrieve, stock, and distribute parts to support production schedules.

Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

High school diploma (HS Diploma) or GED, with relevant warehouse experience.

Prior forklift operation experience and valid certification.

Ability to work overtime when necessary.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent changeovers.

Willingness to learn and support multiple functions through cross-training.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and transporting materials safely.

Preferred Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Experience with ERP systems or warehouse management software.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
