Peristaltic Rotary Pumps

Peristaltic pumps, also known as peristaltic hose pumps or tubing pumps, operate by using rollers or shoes that squeeze and release a flexible hose or tube to move the fluid. This squeezing action creates a peristaltic motion that propels the fluid through the pump. Peristaltic pumps are commonly used for applications that require gentle pumping action, accurate dosing, and the ability to handle sensitive or viscous fluids.

On the other hand, rotary pumps encompass a wide range of pumps that operate by the rotation of a rotor or impeller to transfer fluids. Examples of rotary pumps include gear pumps, vane pumps, screw pumps, and lobe pumps. These pumps use rotating elements to create the pumping action and move the fluid from the inlet to the outlet.
