A fresh production line for dosing skids now runs inside the Fresno plant, marking another step in Grundfos’ U.S. growth. This move widens their local output while sharpening attention on gear made just for cleaning water. With machines humming in California, more custom setups can reach customers faster than before.
Inside the same facility where pumps take shape, dosing skid assembly now finds its place. This shift lets production flow smoother, without extra steps between units. Instead of moving parts across distances, everything connects under one roof. Efficiency grows when processes share space. Making components nearby cuts delays. Closer proximity means quicker adjustments. With all pieces built in alignment, small changes become easier. The whole operation responds faster. What used to involve separate sites now happens side by side. Workflow simplifies because movement reduces. One spot handles what once needed several.
Out here, the funding aims to smooth out how goods move, make output steadier, also tie daily work tighter to what buyers actually want throughout North and South America. Putting dosing skid assembly right alongside main pump building helps everything connect better – faster reactions show up, quality climbs without fanfare. Finished.
“Today is an exciting step forward for Industry Americas and for our ambition to win in the US,” said Jay Stellmacher, General Manager, Industry Americas at Grundfos. “This investment reflects our strategic focus on becoming a stronger provider of systems and solutions, particularly for the water treatment market, while serving our partners and customers with greater speed and simplicity.”
A new chapter opens at the Fresno location, growing what has long been a key center for making goods across America. Step by step, it moves forward through years of steady work and quiet progress.
Inge Delobelle, EVP and Divisional CEO of Industry, emphasised the site’s historical and strategic importance. “More than 50 years ago, our journey in the US began here in Fresno,” Delobelle said. “As we take the next steps in our ambition to win in the US, it feels fitting that our dosing skids are coming home to Fresno. This investment reflects both the importance of the US to our future and the growing role of water treatment and reuse at a time when water stewardship has never been more important.”
Fresno’s team of 265 handles production tasks, while also managing how parts come together and are checked. Work there covers many kinds of Grundfos Industry items, with each step fine-tuned over time. People on site take care of building things, putting them into place, then running checks. Across different product lines, their role stays central to daily operations.
