Powerful Diaphragm Liquid Pump – FP 1.70
Depending on the configuration, the new FP 1.70 delivers a flow rate from 70 to 800 ml/min at a maximum pressure of 6 bar (rel.). In addition, the self-priming and dry-run-safe pump offers a suction height of at least 3 mH2O. These specifications become even more impressive considering the pump delivers a smooth flow similar to pump technologies known for their low pulsation such as gear pumps or circular pumps. At the same time, it offers the unique advantages of a diaphragm pump such as clean and gentle media handling, high chemical compatibility, oil free operations, and outstanding reliability.
Smooth Flow Pump Customizable to Individual Needs
Like most KNF pumps, the new FP 1.70 offers an advanced modular approach, ensuring reliable, economic, and fast customization for specific customer applications. Customers can choose from various elastomer materials for maximum chemical compatibility and different motor options, including an economic brushed DC motor (12 V or 24 V) or an advanced brushless DC motor (12 V/24 V or 10-28V) for maximum lifetime, controllability, and digital customization. Installation is flexible, with options for mounting screws or a special mounting clip.
Fit For High Pressure Pump and Chemical Compatibility
The new FP 1.70, an evolution of the renowned FP 70, is engineered for high-pressure applications. It incorporates advanced compression fittings to ensure reliable and secure hydraulic connections. For enhanced stability and chemical resistance, both the connection plate and the intermediate plate are constructed from PPS. When high chemical compatibility at lower pressure is required, the PPS connection plate can be tailored to project specifications, equipping it with hose barbs featuring an inner diameter of 4 mm.
Designed for the most Demanding Industries
Several industries benefit from the advantages of diaphragm pump technology but require a smooth flow at a high pressure. This is where the new FP 1.70 excels. Applications where media integrity is key especially benefit from the new pump. This includes printing technologies like drop on demand or continuous inkjet as well as many medical applications like needle washing. Fuel cell and 3D printing technology also benefit from this innovative pump.
